We could not recommend Specialist Leak Detection highly enough. After numerous engineers had visited our property and could not locate a leak in our central heating system pipework, John from Specialist Leak Detection arrived promptly for an emergency visit and found the leak within an hour. SLD provided a detailed report and, no doubt, saved our property from further damage.

Strongly advised. Leak found and sealed in a matter of hours! Under our concrete flooring, there was an unidentified water leak. The next day, they arrived early. The leak was discovered without the need to dig up the floor. Offered us a variety of options for a solution and gave us a breakdown of everything so we could choose wisely. Excellent work ethic. Reports are sent out in a timely manner, are itemised, and are suitable for insurance companies. A decent price, in my perspective, considering their prompt response and fix time. Would not hesitate to use them a second time, but perhaps we won't need to!

Excellent experience
Excellent phone reception with Victoria. When Joe returned the call he described the procedure and cost, and set up an appointment within 48 hours. Tyler called and notified me around what time he would be arriving beforehand, when he arrived he was really professional. Also he thoroughly described what he would be doing, and patiently answered all of my concerns.

Mo was excellent
Mo was excellent. He called beforehand to check we had put heating on. He listened to our problem patiently and went about finding the leak methodically. He found the problem in the loft (our plumbers had done a shoddy job with too much excess flux left on a copper joint) and provided a report which is helping me take up the issue with the original installer. Mo also made some helpful suggestions about some other plumbing niggles.

Helpful and Efficient
We had a leak very close to the floor in our kitchen in a very awkward place with water trapped beneath the lino and seeping out under the carpet into the hall. Mo, your engineer, made a thorough check of the water system in the house and discovered two other minor leaks that would eventually have to be addressed. He repaired the major leak in the kitchen and we were impressed by his efficiency together with his friendly and courteous manner. He explained the problems in simple terms that we could understand and advised us of any improvements that could be made. We were pleased to have a major problem solved before any further damage could be done.

Mystery solved- thank you Mo!
Mo was fantastic- super friendly guy first of all but also solved a mystery that we have struggled with for 4 months. We noticed our boiler kept losing pressure very slowly every two weeks or so after having our bathroom redone and a new radiator put in. Plumber that did the work and British Gas couldn’t figure out the issue. Mo used thermal and moisture readings to find a small patch down in our lounge where the same pipes connected upstairs to the bathroom. Turns out when the property was originally built over ten years ago, a nail from the skirting had gone in to a pipe and recent work we had done had caused movement starting the leak very slowly. Mystery solved- thank you Mo! Total legend!

Unresolved leak issues from neighborouging property
John came to detect a leak that was coming over to our property from a neighbouring property. Within minutes John had traced the leaks and discovered a lot more than just a leak. The report was thorough, photo`s and videos also supplied to back up his findings and stating where the route of the problem lies......the property next door. We cant thank John enough for his honest and excellent specialist knowledge.

Excellent service.
Frank arrived on time and after listening to our problem immediately set about identifying the location of the leak with an impressive array of equipment. Traced the leak to an underfloor pipe under a kitchen unit. Removed the door and base of the unit , dug out the solid floor to expose the damaged hot water pipe and repaired the leak. Left everything neat and tidy, we now have hot water again. Could not recommend more highly

We requested the leak detection service…
We requested the leak detection service on a weekend and we had an engineer onsite on the following day (after the bank holiday). Our engineer (Mo) was very polite and extremely professional. Mo found the leak in quick time and our plumber was able to repair the leaking pipe quickly. Without your service it would have been a very time consuming costly process trying to find the leak.

A Great company
A Great company. We rang them on a Monday morning regarding an on going issue a normal plumber couldn’t resolve. We got an appointment with one of their engineers Tyler for the same day. Tyler was professional and informative talking through each stage of his testing and explaining about the equipment he was using. He found the problem quickly and easily and gave us information on how to rectify it. Thank you Tyler you saved us a lot of headache and disruption. We thought we would be taking floors up. Thanks to their equipment and detection it didn’t come to this. Phew!
